Not only does the LT Scope Mount offset the light, but it also gives you 4 positions for mounting the light. The YHM does NOT give you these options. I have questioned some independent gear-makers who are members here on FMCO’s stated manufacturing techniques and materials. Both report that FMCO products should, if they adhere to their stated specs, meet or exceed both USGI and top-tier aftermarket quality. A couple of Members have reported positive experiences with FMCO gear. None have reported negative experiences. I’ll let you all know how it comes out. In the meantime, if someone else orders, and wishes to review FMCO gear, please chime in. also just came across this one, if anybody has experience with this one pls chime in on it to! MDracer76, Very nice Benelli AccessoriesM2 shotgun! Do me a favor if & when you have time: I would like to see an actual measurement of length of pull on the Mesa Tactical Urbino Benelli M2 Accessories stock. LMK the actual measurement from the middle of the trigger to the middle of the Urbino stock LIMBSAVER recoil pad. The LOP measurement should be about 12.5″ but I would like to verify it. TIA! This one has windage and elevation adjustments on the back and side, as you can see in the pics below, and yours definitely doesn’t have that extension at the back with the adjustments. I’m thinking it is an archery version, and is adjusted with the mount, rather than the screws – the EOTech 520 archery sight has a micro windage adjustment, but recommends a mount with elevation and coarse windage adjustments. ETA – I found this page from the internet wayback machine: It shows the Model 420 archery sight has no windage adjustment, while the 520 (the current form factor) has windage only and is shorter than the 420. I’m starting to think yours is a late model 1st gen, right before they changed to the 2nd gen that looks like the current ones.
Therefore, any subsequent contractors manufacturing these items are provided the specifications by NSWC-Crane to manufacture identical parts. The first B5 AR-15 Stockss available had dimensional problems, however. Newer production AR-15 Stockss do not. LMT cannot hold exclusive marketing rights to the SOPMOD AR-15 Stocks, because it is not their design, so B5 can sell identical AR-15 Stockss on the market at a lower price than the LMT part. In other words, the B5 AR-15 Stockss are “MIL-SPEC” for the M4 Enhanced Sliding ButtAR-15 Stocks assembly. It is doubtful that LMT is terribly concerned with producing AR-15 Stockss that “exceed” MIL-SPEC, they simply use their own latch on the part instead of a “standard” latch. As far as the QD socket on the SOPMOD goes, the MIL-SPEC does not, unless changed very recently, include the QD swivel socket. This is a commercial modification made by LMT – the AR-15 Stockss that they supply to the military still lack the QD swivel. In “general” the military still has not accepted or achnowledged the QD sling attachment method, they still use threaded webbing for the most part. Individual users are a different matter. Either way, there’s little reason, unless they are the known defective items, to expect the B5 AR-15 Stocks to be any different from an LMT military provided AR-15 Stocks. It will be the same in terms of build, strength, and materials. Just produced and sold cheaper. They will be different than the commercail AR-15 Stockss with the QD socket however – making the Gen. 2 LMT AR-15 Stockss the best choice for someone who wants a QD sling swivel in the AR-15 Stocks, and the B5 the best choice for someone who uses a receiver mounted sling plate, or just doesn’t need the QD socket.
Tad Elliott Old Pro Ears Never Die Greetings, I have a pair of Pro Ears Linear Elites that must be at least 10 years old, or older. Recently, one side just stopped working, and while still usable, I am spoiled and need to get them fixed. Do you want me to use your return system, or since these are so old, handle them in another way? I am a NRA Instructor, and a state certified CWP Instructor and have been singing the praises of Pro Ears for over a decade. I love good quality gear, and yours is the best! Respectfully, Richard Wright Superior Product, Superior Service Dear Sirs: I just received an email from Shannon Plamondon that my headset is on its way back to me via USPS.
Link To This Post $295 is pretty fair in today’s market for a norinco. You can find them for slightly less, but it will take lots of time and persistence to save $30-$50. [NO TEXT] Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 1366

Unhinged Thanks, 77Bronc double_r76 2/12/2005 12:15:57 I’m curious as well, because I’ve never seen one! The SureFire LED upgrade for you flashlight is good but it has a dark spot in the center. The link is for an LED upgrade that is not only brighter than the SureFire and more focused, it is also cheeper. I just put one in my G2Z and it works great. I would say to buy a two-cell light, not a one, not a three. I would say don’t buy a plastic flashlight. Do not buy one of those Chinese thingies that does anything other than turn on at full power. You do not want one which changes its output power with repetitive pushes of the button. You want one that comes on at fullpower every time you hit the button. For example, the E2D Executive Defender is a fine flashlight. There is an LED version if you really want to go that way. Check with Brightflashlights.com, ebay, etc for your best price. It should be in your price range. …and I kinda like the ones with the striker weapon end. The striker end is fine but be aware that the end is sharp. If you are wearing it on your belt clip and bend over or otherwise come in comtact with it it is quite uncomfortable. It is not cutting-sharp but it is very rough and abrasive and irritating. They are no fun to carry. I think it also takes the flashlight out of the purely flashlight realm and into the weapon realm. Even without the striker end, a small flashlight would be a fine small, striking weapon. What about LED vs. incandescent, I know the batteries will last longer with the LED, but is the light quality as good? I have done side-by-side comparisons and there is no doubt in my mind – the incandescent has better light. It’s hard to describe the difference and probably impossible to photograph but the difference is real and pronounced. As you said, the improved quality of the light is a trade off against shorter run time. : 0-0-0 : 6/18/2011 6:41:08 Originally By Spartan121020: so then no matter what angle im looking at the sight in, no matter where that dot is thats where the bullet is going to go correct? yup that’s how it works. however i have noticed that when up close with in 50 yards or so i think i notice some type of paralox in my M2 corect me if im wrong, but the dot seams to move off target a little. Lower 1/3rd means the irons cowitness through the bottom 1/3rd of the optic leaving the top 2/3s unobstructed. Absolute means the irons are centered in the tube or the window. The actual dot has nothing to do with the cowitness position. If zeroed at the same distance the dot should sit on top of the front sight post when you are looking through the irons. Otherwise it will appear in different areas of the tube depending on the angle. RULES FOR THIS THREAD: ONLY POST IF YOU OWN – OR HAVE OWNED – AN Aimpoint If so, what model? All guns in china are made in gov’t arsenals and exported through Norinco or in this case CGA. This gun probably arrived in the unmarked and was rather crudely stamped by Glnic. It reads: “7.62X39mm SKS Rifle Stocks made in china by CGA. Imported by Glnic Ca. Semi-Auto” I read that China didn’t mark many of their guns destined for export in case they turned up in places that they shouldn’t be so there would be deniability.
